(which if you believe makes Hxh's world the size of a small star.)
Hxh manga covers free#
It is at least twice the size, if not 100s of times like the picture somewhat suggests.Ĭlick to expand.Feel free to disregard that last paragraph, as it states that the sizes are equal. Now again, this is Togashi, his art is sometimes spotty, and it could be much more of a grand vision than it should be, but their world is anything BUT the same size. If we give them the credit of saying their continents are half of ours, then their whole world literally exists on a 'small' body of water across the surface. an attempt to scale the world they know into the actual monster of a planet they live on. I suppose the population numbers might suggest other wise if someone recalls where that was in the manga, but for all intents and purposes i just assume that they are the same size at least? In picture 2 the world is clearly an attempt to model ours in a different orientation, but i don't recall anywhere that suggests that these continents are any smaller than ours. The persons able to actually do the math are probably inside the military and won't speak out or hunters who probably don't even care.Ĭlick to expand. There were population numbers released? O: I missed that detail, please share.Įither way the only piece of anything we have about the situation is this. We also know that people die just for not having the medicaments they need, and leorio seems to see that as a given, not saying 'in the shitty place i live in there is no health system', so i'd assume that is the status quo of the world. The police force yields to mafia and criminals who have nen, assassins can live freely without any force able to take them down, nuking the enemy is a viable option in small scale wars and the science and tech they do have are used to make giant towers in which people fight to the death. I think the HxH world is a dystopian place. Most towns in HxH we saw seemed rather simple and rural. So i think not many people except the rich ones and the hunters have access to many information and education. Even the internet seems to be under tight control and gon has never heard of it before he was introduced to the 'hunter net'. We didnt see many scientists so far in HxH and the ones we saw were hunters. I think the day just moves normally in the HxH world with 24 hours while the world spins, but maybe obviously the governments keep tabs on people who could actually measure call bullshit on the maps due to the information of how fast day and night changes. I think the known world might be smaller than our's. Personally, i'd rather think about doubled the size tho. It is true that the HxH earth has to be bigger than our's. but I'm not IT major, I'm just equating it to what happens with Satilite phones, which i can't imagine would be too different. I don't know how modern HxH is, but if the distance between a small chunk of the DC and their world is a bit farther than london, then not having relay towers set up could be an issue. I mean if you think about it, Satilites ususally have multiple relay stations, to keep a good signal. good question? I mean maybe they just don't bother with moving their tech out there. but there are whole forests of them in the DC?Īs for the space pictures. The bigger ones can apparently literally change maps as the grow. The fact that they could barely even tickle the horizon of their planet with a tree that size suggests the planet is huge.Īnd I'm merely talking about the one Gon climbed. I mean details aside like haze, and actual vision clarity, London would be in your sight lines. I say that because JUST for reference, if that tree existed in New York, you'd very well be able to see London. but you ain't the best) and his exaggerated scaling of trees

Obviously using Togashi's drawings (I love you Toga. The fact that there are whole forests of trees whose bodies are basically the size of small cities means the scale of the earth those god like plants are attached too needs to be massive.

Now call me ambitious but a forest of Trees that is big enough to rupture the atmosphere? They should all be dead, but leaving science out of it.

first things first, they have similar continent size on top of the fact that they reveal that they actually know VERY little about the world around them. I also found that really interesting, I don't think their planet is as small as ours though.
